I believe in the power of nonprofits to save lives, transform communities, and change the world. For two decades, I’ve partnered with nonprofit leaders to unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and create lasting impact.

My expertise draws upon extensive training, self-study, and most of all, years of trial and error. I have cofounded a national nonprofit startup that now serves over 170,000 children annually, transformed a local shelter and mental health center into a national model of evidence-based wraparound care, and driven record-breaking fundraising at a tech nonprofit, unlocking hundreds of millions in resources for low-income families. 

I’ve raised funds from federal, state, and local governments, major donors, small-but-mighty donors, and private foundations. I’ve pitched the likes of Google, GitLab, Twilio, and Salesforce, and built relationships with philanthropic giants including Gates and Walmart Foundation.

My work has been cited in The New York Times, Time Magazine, The Washington Post, and other national outlets, and I’ve spoken to audiences ranging from global conservation leaders to classes at Harvard University. 

I’ve also been the sole employee at a small nonprofit, hand-drawing posters, soliciting donors at a local mall, and carefully crafting board meeting agendas before picking up the obligatory snacks.
